In a shocking turn of events, the WAP rapper has filed for divorce at an Atlanta courthouse on Tuesday following claims that Offset has been unfaithful yet again. Citing that the marriage is "irretrievably broken" and that "there are no prospects for a reconciliation," Cardi B has seemingly put her foot down once and for all following reports from PEOPLE magazine confirming Offsets newest affair.
The news, while sudden, had been hinted at by Cardi on Instagram with a suspicious post to her story the day prior to her courthouse appearance. The post in question was a simple picture with the caption: “Her heart finally told her to stop wasting her time”; with Cardi adding a caption of her own saying: “It’s time 😉.”
The newest scandal is only the most recent in a series of several that surrounds the couple. Back in 2017, Offset was confirmed to be having an affair with aspiring rapper and model Summer Bunni. As news of the affair broke, Cardi took to Twitter to give her two cents, saying: "No, it's not right for a n**** to cheat…But what you want me to do? Go f*** me another n****? Start all over again and get cheated on again? This s*** happens to everyone and I be too, you too…People handle they relationship different soo."
This wouldn't be the first or last infidelity rumor surrounding Offset; with another being confirmed shortly after the Summer Bunni scandal where a hacker managed to obtain a sex-tape made by Offset and an unidentified woman.
The couples court date is set for November 4th where they will begin discussions over custody of their 2-year-old daughter Kulture Kiari amongst other legal disputes.
